VBC Pro Tour Notice – Kelowna Flood

Kelowna Pro, the fourth stop in the VBC Pro Beach Tour has been moved from Kelowna’s City Park to Skaha Beach, Penticton on July 1-2, 2017. High water levels have resulted in temporary closure to protect flood measures in Kelowna. As of June 05, 2017, Environment Canada measures the lake at 343.24 metres. Okanagan Lake is predicted to peak 50 cm higher than what was original estimated in early May.

Due to the flood, the fourth stop of the 2017 VBC Pro Beach Tour – Kelowna Pro will now be held in Skaha Beach as the Penticton Pro, located at the South end of the city of Penticton. Skaha Beach has successfully hosted Volleyball BC beach volleyball events for adults and youth in the past and we are glad to be back. The Beach runs half a mile long, perfect for beach volleyball!

Teams must register by 12:00pm (noon) the Monday before the tournament.
