Parksville Pro: New Leaders Emerge with two stops left in 2017 VBC Pro Beach Tour

3 of the 5 pro beach volleyball tournaments have been completed, and with only 2 events left, the title of 2017 VBC Pro Beach Tour Champion is coming closer to reality for a few pro athletes.

The Parksville Pro, the third tournament in the Volleyball BC Pro Beach Tour Series and takes place at beautiful Parksville Beach on Vancouver Island. Parksville Beach is the perfect destination for the Pro Beach Tour as it has a dedicated beach volleyball park with man-made sand and plenty of room for spectators. This event has a $2500 prize purse.

The beach ran with 32 courts on Saturday, paired with the youth Island sand series and pro tour. This year, the Parksville Pro ran only one day and the pro athletes were playing a few more games than they were used to. We saw hard fought rallies and the pros edged-out wins against their opponents despite the longer schedule!
