Visar, is from Kosova born in Libya. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. His remarkable journey in the world of volleyball, first as a player and then as a coach and leader, spanning from 2000. Visar holds certifications as both an indoor and beach volleyball coach from the FIVB.

From 2017 to 2021, he played a pivotal role as the Vice President of the Volleyball Federation of Kosova, where he concurrently directed beach volleyball activities. He received a special award from Volleyball Federation of Kosova for for his significant contribution to sports development. Not content with confining his efforts to volleyball alone, he was instrumental in the establishment of the MMA Federation of Kosova in 2018, dedicating two years as the voluntary Secretary General.

Driven by a passion for environmental causes, Visar, alongside his wife, founded the NGO Pishtaret in Kosova, with a mission to safeguard the environment. His commitment to environmentalism aligns with his dedication to making a positive impact on young lives. Working extensively with children, Visar finds fulfillment in contributing to their well-being, with a special focus on sitting volleyball—a cause that holds particular significance for him.He moved to Canada in 2019. He also volunteers for Surrey Libraries from 2021 to deliver books for seniors.

Academically accomplished, Visar holds a Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Prishtina, Kosova, specializing in Sports Law. In 2022, he added “Kosova Sports Law and International Arbitration for Sport CAS” to his list of achievements, a book published in Albanian. Currently, he serves as an arbiter in the Arbitration Court for Sport in Kosova.

Within our organization, Volleyball BC, Visar spearheads camps and clinics for youth in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley and also the REP program in North Van with Volleyball Canada. His passion for nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for growth is evident in his commitment to the development of volleyball at the grassroots level.
