Volleyball BC is pleased to welcome, Mackenzie Coyle to our team! Mackenzie joins VBC as the Manager, Recreation Programs. In this role Mackenzie will oversee all Adult Leagues and programs and lead the development of recreational programming for children and youth within Volleyball BC.

Mackenzie grew up in Southwestern Ontario, where she was a member of the University of Windsor Lancers women’s volleyball team from 2009 until 2014, when she graduated with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Human Kinetics. In 2016 she moved to Toronto to pursue a Sport Business Management Certificate at Durham College, and had the opportunity to coach with the Durham Attack Volleyball Club and the Seneca Sting Women’s team. She made the move to BC in 2019 and has had the opportunity to be an assistant coach with the University of the Fraser Valley Women’s Team, a zone coach with the Team BC regional program, and is currently a head coach with the Junior Cascades Volleyball Club.

When she’s not at work or coaching, Mackenzie enjoys hiking and backpacking with her husband and friends through the mountains of British Columbia and Washington, learning new crafting hobbies, and trying to find the best gluten, dairy and nut free recipes out there!
