We want to support you to coach volleyball as safely as possible. Your safety is our priority.

On this page you can find information about what VBC’s Return to Play plan means for you, what you can expect during this Transition Phase, and things you should know when you coach.

At all times you should be aware of and follow public health guidelines.

Below are the Coaches Guidelines. To download a PDF version of them, click here.

For coaches or athletes recovering from COVID-19, click here to see the Return to Health & Performance protocols to get back on the court.

When you choose to participate in physical activities outside the home during the pandemic – including volleyball – you are at an increased risk of contracting COVID 19. This is an inherent risk of participating in non-essential activities in your community

Volleyball is considered a medium risk sport for COVID-19 because we share the use of a ball. Carefully assess your personal health situation before coaching.

If you are over 65 years, immuno-compromised or have underlying health conditions, coaching volleyball is not recommended. If you live with higher risk individuals, consider your participation carefully.
