Tamara Rosenlund hired as Officials & Youth Development Coordinator

We are excited to announce the hiring of Tamara Rosenlund as the new Officials & Youth Development Coordinator.  Under the direction of the Executive Director and Volleyball BC’s High Performance Committee, Tamara will be responsible for the organization and administration of youth programs, officials development and high performance athlete develop throughout the province.

Tamara brings a wealth of experience in volleyball and in sport leadership.  She was the starting libero at Vancouver Island University (VIU) where she won two CCAA National Championships in her five year career.   At VIU she completed her degree in Recreation and Tourism Management, graduating in 2012 with a major in Sport and Recreation Management.   She also organized intramural leagues such as volleyball, soccer, and floor hockey.  Tamara has worked for VBC in the past as coordinator of VBC leagues in Coquitlam and Vancouver and Youth Beach tournaments.  She is a certified level 1 official in indoor and beach volleyball and is a former mid- island referee allocator.
