Volleyball Canada will be hosting a “Beach Volleyball National Team Championship” in order to showcase the best talent in the country. This event will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from August 29th – 31st. This event is also known as “SandJam”.
This championship will host the top 4 teams from Team Canada, as well as the top 4 teams from Senior Beach National Championships in Toronto. This will make up an 8 team tournament per gender.
All sixteen teams will have all expenses paid to and from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Accommodation and meals will also be covered throughout the event.
There is $10 000 worth of prize money up for grabs at SandJam. This is an event Canadian athletes won’t want to miss!
In order to participate in SandJam, teams that are not currently part of the National Team need to qualify through Senior National Championships in Toronto on August 22-24th. Click here for more details about the 2014 Senior National Championships.
