This weekend one of the largest youth beach tournaments of the season will take place in Parksville, BC as 132 two-person teams will be competing in the Island High School Beach Open. This event features girls in grades 6 through 12 and boys in grades 8 through 12. This tournament has a requirement that both players have to be from the same high school. The high school with the most teams registered this year is Timberline.

Saturday morning the action will begin at Parksville Community Park and we’re sure to see some great rivalry matches on the sand. So come out and support your school and see some great volleyball this weekend!
