Our Staff Members

As Vancouver Island Regional Manager, David is responsible for organizing, promoting, and implementing volleyball programs across Vancouver Island, and the Central Coast.  He is a member of the Regional Development Committee, the Volleyball BC Referee Committee, sits on two Volleyball Canada program committees; and is dedicated to creating opportunities for everyone to access volleyball via Smashball, Club, High Performance, Adult, Coaching, Refereeing, Beach Volleyball, and more.

David’s involvement in volleyball in BC began running adult recreation programs for West Coast Outdoor Volleyball; and playing volleyball and beach volleyball in Volleyball BC’s adult programs. He has served as president of the Victoria Volleyball Association, vice president of the Vancouver Island Volleyball Association, chair of Volleyball Canada’s National Championships’ Committee, Zone Referees’ Chair for Vancouver Island, and BC Beach Volleyball Referees’ Chair. He has coached numerous high school and club teams to island and provincial championships. David is also a National certified volleyball and beach volleyball referee. Outside of volleyball he loves spending time with his family, or on the golf course.
