This past weekend over 560 youth athletes participated in the 14U & 16U Baden Cup Regional Tryouts at multiple venues around the province. These tryouts are the beginning of the selection process to make the “Baden Cup”, a 4 day training camp which select athletes are invited to attend.

The 14U Baden Cup is hosted in Vancouver & Richmond on June 29-July 2nd. At this camp athletes will train on the beach and indoor. This is an athlete’s first step at the High Performance Pathway.

The 16U Baden Cup is hosted in Kamloops on June 29-July 2nd. At this camp athletes will train indoor only and compete for 24 spots on Team BC. This is an athlete’s first chance at competing to be selected for Team BC. From here, selected athletes will train in Kamloops and attend the National Team Challenge Cup in Richmond.
