Volleyball BC is thrilled to announce KINeSYS Performance Sunscreen as the title sponsor of the Big West Volleyfest, Western Canada’s largest beach volleyball festival happening at Vancouver, B.C.’s Spanish Banks Beach (East and West) on August 1-3, 2015.

According to the Canadian Cancer Society, sunscreen works by absorbing UV rays and prevents them from penetrating the skin. They recommend:
- Using sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher; if you’re planning on being outside most of the day, use an SPF of 30.
- Make sure your sunscreen protects you from both UVA and UVB rays.
- Be sure to use a water-resistant sunscreen if you’ll be in the water, make sure to re-apply if you’ve been sweating!
