The 16U Baden Cup wrapped up on Thursday, July 2nd in Kamloops, BC. The event was a huge success with 125 athletes from across the province training and competing for a spot with the 16U Team BC Program. Chris Dahl was the lead coach for the girls and Ryan Adams led the boys at the 16U Baden Cup training camp. We were thrilled to have them share their volleyball knowledge and experience with the group. Volleyball BC would also like to thank the athletes, coaches and chaperones for their efforts and hard work on and off the court.
The 16U Baden Cup is the selection camp for the 16U Team BC programs and 30 girls and 30 boys were selected to stay in Kamloops and train for the following 2 weeks. Chad Grimm is the program lead for the 16U Girls Team BC program and Matt LeBourdais is the program lead for the 16U Boys Team BC program. The 16U teams will represent BC at the upcoming National Team Challenge Cup, July 15-19, 2015. The girl’s tournament will be in Richmond, BC and the boy’s tournament will be held in Edmonton, AB.
