Volleyball BC is excited to announce the biggest Beach Tour in Volleyball BC history, including the return of the Vancouver Open.
The Beach Tour, presented by Natura Solutions, is underway with seven events in three regions across the province with the Tour’s flagship event, the Vancouver Open, taking place on July 15-17 with a total prize purse of $40,000 US, provided by Natura Solutions. This prize is the largest ever in the tournament’s tenure and sets a new bar for the event.
“We are proud to have the 2022 Beach Tour kicking off this month and are looking forward to seeing high calibre beach volleyball on beaches across BC. We are particularly excited to be working in partnership with Natura Solutions to bring the Van Open back to the community after a 3-year hiatus. We can’t wait to watch players hit the beach and showcase their talents to everyone!”
The competitions unfold over the next few months ending with the Beach Provincials at the end of July. Natura Solutions will also be generously providing a $2,500 cash prize for the winners of each of the six regional competitions.
Natura Solutions is proud to support Volleyball BC as The Beach Tour’s presenting sponsor since 2018. The company, founded by local volleyball player Rob Penz, is an industry-leading provider of ecofriendly enzyme-based cleaning products.
“It is certainly great to be back in full venue as the title sponsor with the biggest prize purse ever in the history of the Vancouver Open. We look forward to a very competitive tournament and fantastic event this year.”
Registration is open for the remaining six tournaments. For more information about the Beach Tour presented by Natura Solutions visit beachtourbc.com.
