Our Staff Members

The Technical Director is responsible for all regional activities, and oversees the
delivery of Team BC programming. Alex is also responsible for the Club and Beach
volleyball systems.

Alex grew up and played volleyball in the Lower Mainland for Killarney Secondary. He
then joined the Capilano University Blues in 2010, winning a Provincial Championship
and finishing 5th in CCAA Nationals in 2013. Alex has held multiple positions at
Capilano, including athlete, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Assistant
Coach during his time with the program from 2010 to 2018.

Outside of volleyball, Alex likes to train in martial arts and is currently being reminded of
how many people are better at it than him.
