February 16th marks the date of the Volleyball BC Annual General Meeting, which will be held at Fortius Sport & Health from 7:30-9:30pm in the Forum room. The AGM is the mandatory official yearly meeting for Volleyball BC to inform and engage with the membership of the non-profit association. All members are welcome to attend.
The AGM will update the membership on the organization’s past year in regards to its finances, committee reports, updates and discussions on the operations of the organization during the past year and the election of directors. This year there are three positions open: one for Treasurer and two for Members at Large. For anyone introduced in being on the board of directors, please submit a bio and list your strengths and skill sets that you believe will help support the organization to: [email protected].
This process is scheduled for 7:30-8:00pm. Following the AGM, Volleyball BC will be hosting an open forum for clubs and coaches to discuss athlete recruiting and club governance. We strongly encourage clubs and coaches to attend both events. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
