TRU – Home Sweet Home for WolfPack WVB

The exhibition season begins this weekend at home for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s volleyball team.

Chad Grimm’s squad will take on the MacEwan Griffins and the UBC Thunderbirds on Friday (Sept27) and meet the UBCO Heat on Saturday (Sept 28).
These are the first exhibition matches of the season for the WolfPack, who have a veteran laden crew on the floor in 2019-20.

Grimm had his entire squad return from the team which made it to the Canada West playoffs and took the heavily favored University of Alberta Pandas to a maximum three games in the first round of the post season.

The WolfPack have only two new players this year in outside hitter Kendall Stephan of Springwater Ontario. Stephan was a member of the National Collegiate champion VIU Mariners last season. The other new face belongs to Kseniya Kocyigyt who is a middle from Belarus who played professionally last season in the Philippines.
