Program Overview

The Volleyball BC Team BC Programs work to advance volleyball talent and build a broader and stronger pipeline of athletes and coaches for our Canadian Olympic Teams. Team BC is the pathway for young athletes who aspire to reach the elite level and who dream to one day represent Canada on the National Men’s or Women’s Volleyball Team. The Team BC Red & Blue program (16-17U) will introduce Team BC systems and tactics adopted from national team programs. Athletes will have the opportunity to implement concepts learned at the Canada Cup Competition.

The Team BC Red & Blue program (formerly Team BC 16U) has been renamed to follow LTAD principles published by the Canadian Sport for Life Group. Teams will be selected by athlete developmental level rather than age category. FOr further information on LTAD principles and the Canadian Sport for Life Group, please visit –
