For 2012, the Team BC Beach Program will run a series of camps throughout the summer to prepare athletes for the 2012 Beach Nationals hosted by Volleyball BC in August as well as to prepare selected athletes for the 2013 Canada Summer Games team.

2012 BC SUMMER GAMES PROGRAM INFORMATION

Team BC Beach
The program will be comprise of 12 athletes (6 male and 6 female) and will be selected from a provincial tryout. Athletes will be selected from the 21U (male) and 20U (female) age categories.

NOTE CHANGES TO TRYOUT DETAILS

Dates: Wednesday, June 20 and Friday, June 22

Times: 6:30pm – 9:00pm both days

Tryout Fee: $20.00

Location: Spanish Banks – West

Coaching Staff: Kyra Iannone (Male) and Mike Gilray (Female)
Program Cost: $200 plus HST

High Performance Beach Training 1 (FLYER)
Date: June 16th
Location: Vancouver Island
Cost: $40 plus HST
Format: Open to all interested athletes

National Team Identification Session
Date: July 11th
Location: Vancouver
Cost: TBD
Format: Open to all Team BC athletes (Indoor or Beach).
All athletes must fill out identification form and submit to Volleyball Canada prior to attending.

High Performance Beach Training 2
Date: July 16-18, 2012
Location: Vancouver
Cost: $150 plus HST
Format: Open to all interested athletes
Athletes will have the opportunity to work with the participants from the 2012 Vancouver Open
