Spring Break didn’t keep the 15U girls from having an awesome time in the Okanagan! Despite the academic break, over 25 teams travelled to Kelowna to participate in the 15U Girls Okanagan Super Volley. In 2014, the event hosted 24 teams, but an increase in teams for 2015 required both UBC Okanagan and Okanagan Mission Secondary School to be utilized for the tournament.
Feisty competition in both the “AA” and “A” Levels meant that many matches went to a third a deciding set. The “A” final featured Ducks – Rob versus KVA Pack – Mike and after a grueling tournament, it was Ducks – Rob that claimed the championship title winning 2-0(25-15, 27-25). Meanwhile, the new club of T2 Crew defeated Focus Strikers to win the “AA” event.
