July 18th and 19th the last Lower Mainland event before the youth provincial championships (KINeSYS Big West Volleyfest) took place at Spanish Banks in Vancouver.
Saturday the 13-14U girls and the 13-16U boys had 72 teams that played through the wind and heat, followed by 58 teams on Sunday with much of the same weather. Results for this event are now available here.
In less than two weeks these teams will return to Spanish Banks for the Big West Volleyfest event which incorporates nine tournaments including the Youth Beach Provincial Championships and a Youth King/Queen of the Beach event. Following the Provincial Championships teams will travel to Parksville, BC for the Western Beach Nationals August 14-16. Information and registration details available here.
