Maccabi Canada Is Looking For Athletes of Jewish Heritage

Maccabi Canada, a national non-profit organization, promotes Jewish identity and cultivating future Canadian leaders through the passion of sports. Maccabi Canada is currently looking for youth athletes to represent Canada in Israel next summer at the inaugural Maccabi International Youth Games (MIYG).

Eligible athletes (male & female) must be born in 2002, 2003 & 2004 and meet Maccabi Canada’s eligibility qualifications for being a Jewish athlete.

Two-time Olympian Josh Binstock will join a great coaching and management staff to provide our young athletes a well-organized and positive experience.

Athletes interested in trying out must complete an athlete application on the Maccabi Canada website.

All registered athletes will be invited to an open National tryout on Sunday,January 21, 2018 at a Greater Toronto Area – location yet to be confirmed. Athletes unable to attend the national tryout are invited to submit video for coaches consideration.
