October has been a busy month at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre with Volleyball BC hosting three different high school “Days at the Dome Series” tournaments.
The Junior Girls led off the month with a tournament on the 4th of October. 15 teams were in attendance from all over Vancouver. The 18th of October we held the Grade 8 Girls Volleyfest where 16 teams came out to play. It was the first time many of the Grade 8’s had played in the large volleyball facility and you could feel the excitement in the air. We’re looking forward to seeing these girls come back again throughout their high school years.
Oct 26th we had the Grade 9 Girls Volleyfest, 14 teams were in attendance and a lot of great battles were played. The results from the tournaments are posted in the individual event listings and we’ve included pictures below that captured some great action at these tournaments.
