This is a Coed 6’s League that takes place on Sundays evenings at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre in Burnaby.  Courts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be used.

The League is broken down into seeding, round robin matches, and playoffs.  League dates: January 10, 17, 24, 31; February 7, 21, 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28; & April 11.
No season February 14 and April 4

Teams will be divided into Pool A and Pool B for each round robin and will move between the pools based on their win/loss record.

Pool A plays 8:30-10:30 PM.
Pool B plays 8:30-10:30 PM.

There will not be priority registration for Winter 2021 and registering for Winter 2021 program will not grant you priority registration for future seasons.  Teams that played in Winter 2020 will receive priority registration for Fall 2021 unless Covid-19 restrictions are still in place.

We are currently in the “Progressively Loosen” Phase of Volleyball BC’s Return to Play. In this phase cohorts must be created for all volleyball activities where there is a contact or close proximity of less than 2 meters.  viaSport defines a cohort as “a group of participants who primarily interact with each other within the sport environment over an extended period of time (eg. series of events)page 23.

Each league at HJSC will be split into two timeslots (Early: 6:30-8:30pm and Late: 8:30-10:30pm) and teams will register for a specific timeslot. Teams participating in each timeslot (up to max of 12 teams) will be considered a cohort and will not crossover or interact with other cohorts.  To abide to these guidelines teams/participants can only register for one league night/1 team ONLY.

Deadline to register:
January 3rd
Roster lock: January 6th

The cost to play is $875 + GST per team.
