Monday Spanish Banks Skills Clinic
July 6 @ 6:00 pm - August 24 @ 6:00 pm| $280
This coed skills clinic takes place on Monday evenings from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Spanish Banks East beach volleyball courts in Vancouver (at the bottom of Tolmie). Participants will register as individuals for seven (7) weeks of small group training sessions. Participants may request a group or will be assigned to a court of up to six (6) participants. Players will work with the same group each week and each court will be assigned a coach to take them through a variety of drills.
Clinic dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27; August 10, 17, & 24. Exceptions: August 3.
The five major skills (serving, forearm passing, setting, hitting, and digging) will be reviewed.
If we move into the “Progressively Loosen” phase of Volleyball BC’s Phased Return to Volleyball guidelines, clinics will become a mix of skill development and recreational competition. Coed teams of 3 will be create based on training groups from previous weeks. Please note: any movement between phases will be decided through collaboration with viaSport BC and the Provincial Health Office and timing may not align with BC’s Restart Plan.
Cost: $280 per person
