Coaching Symposium

The 2020 Volleyball BC Coaching Symposium is taking place in partnership with the NORCECA Tokyo Men’s Qualifier in Vancouver, January 11 & 12, 2020. Join us as we start the New Year with a weekend packed with learning opportunities and cheers for the home team in their quest to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Certified NCCP Coaches will receive 3 Professional Development points towards the maintenance of certification.

VOLLEYBALL BC Coaching Symposium | 2020 Tokyo Edition

Day 1 – Saturday, January 11, 2020 @ Pacific Coliseum

  • 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM on-court sessions and classroom sessions
  • Tokyo Men’s Qualifier matches to follow (tickets sold separately)
    • 3:30 PM Puerto Rico vs Mexico / 6:00 PM CANADA vs Cuba

Day 2 – Sunday, January 12, 2020, @ Notre Dame

  • 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM on-court sessions
  • Tokyo Men’s Qualifier matches to follow (tickets sold separately)
    • 2:00 PM Cuba vs Mexico / 4:00 PM CANADA vs Puerto Rico

Indoor Club Coach Education Requirements

Volleyball BC maintains NCCP coaching education standards for all club Provincial Championships and supports Volleyball Canada’s Coaching Certification requirements.
