Coaches are involved in all the aspects of the sport of volleyball, including physical and mental player development. A coach is an individual that teaches and supervises, which involves giving directions, instruction and training of the on-court operations of an athletic team or of individual athletes. Volleyball BC is dedicated to ensuring coaches in British Columbia have the best training, skills, and opportunities for development.

We offer certification pathways for new coaches and development courses for existing coaches. If you’re interested in coaching volleyball you’ve come to the right place. Please read through our sections below to learn more about what programs are currently available.

Volleyball Canada Development Model

The Volleyball Canada Development Model has now been officially launched. This is a great resource for coaches and athletes to use as it is structured around the LTAD and how it applies to the Canadian Landscape.
