For the 2020 season, Volleyball BC has renewed it’s partnership with EventConnect by RoomRoster for all tournaments hotel bookings.
What is EventConnect?
The EventConnect Support platform is a convenient online web and mobile application built to help traveling teams select and manage their team hotel for a tournament at discounted hotel rates.
All teams attending Volleyball BC events are encouraged to book their accommodations at either an existing Sponsor Hotel or by submitting your hotel request for any hotel in the market via the booking engine built into our tournament management system – EventConnect.
Why Use EventConnect?
1) Volleyball BC and EventConnect has pre-selected Sponsored Tournament Hotels in order to provide teams with the best options on value, location and amenities.
2) The ability for team managers to efficiently book their hotel reservations at a discounted rate.
3) Allows each travelling participants the ability to customize their room reservation specific to their needs.
4) Team Managers can block rooms free of charge!
How to Use EventConnect?
1) After tournament registration, an account is created for each team in the EventConnect Support System.
2) The Team Manager/Rep is emailed their Team Manager/Rep account login link to begin the process.
3) When the Team Manager/Rep selects the team hotel and creates a group block, a unique Team Member link is created and emailed to the Team Manager/Rep to forward to each Team Member who uses that link to add themselves to the Team and confirm their room at the Team Hotel.
