Volleyball BC is committed to supporting clubs that run 12U Volleyball Programs in 2018

Volleyball BC is excited to announce the following incentives for clubs running 12U Club programs during the 2018 season. These incentives are being offered to support the growth and development of 12U programs across the province:

–  We are very excited to announce that every athlete registered on a 12U team that is attending a Regional Championship will receive their very own Beach Volleyball!!! Volleyballs will be distributed by Regional Managers at Regional Championships.

–  Clubs that run programs for 12U teams will receive a complimentary roll of floor tape to make any necessary adjustments for a 12U court size. We will provide each club with a roll of floor tape to make any necessary modifications to the court sizes in their practice facilities. Please ensure that you ask permission from your facilities prior to using the floor tape.

– 12U Guidelines have been developed and outline a number of modifications as well as instructions for clubs developing 12U Programs. The 12U Guidlines can be found here.

Eight 12U teams attended Provincial Championships in 2017 and we foresee this number doubling in 2018. This age category is rapidly expanding and by providing athletes with their own Beach Volleyball, it will allow them to engage in grassroots play within their communities and increase their contacts.
