Big numbers for Team BC Spring ID Camps

The Volleyball BC Team BC High Performance camps continue to be one of the most popular youth camps in the region, and the Spring Team BC ID camp was no exception. Over 125 youth athletes participated in the camps this week, and they were mentored through their drills by current and former Team BC coaches. The camps lasted three days in which athletes focused on all areas of the game including passing, setting, hitting, serving, blocking, team drills, defence, and gameplay.

“I thought our coaches were exceptional, and it was amazing to see these athletes making big strides in their gameplay and skills over the three days,” explained High Performance Director Joanne Ross. “Athletes were also given information on Team BC programs and we definitely saw lots of potential talent in these groups”.

In late May, Team BC will be holding regional Baden Cup tryouts for 14U and 16U age divisions. Tryout registration will open at the end of March.
