Beachfest Vancouver was a huge success and the fun continues this weekend in Penticton June 28th and 29th. Featuring 60+ players on 8 courts and taking place at beautiful Skaha Beach in Penticton, this tournament is sure to have some excellent competition.
Teams will be playing in a best 2 out of 3 format in pool play and throughout the tournament. Pool play will begin on Saturday and the knockout playoffs will be on Sunday.
The current breakdown for teams competing is as follows –
- 18U Girls – 6 teams
- 18U Boys – 5 teams
- 16U Girls – 7 teams
- 16U Boys – 11 teams
- 14U Girls – 7 teams
At the beach there will be music, concessions, and hopefully lots of sunshine. The Penticton Elvis festival is also running this weekend so don’t be surprised if the king makes an appearance.
