Fraser Valley Regional Manager


JOB OVERVIEW

Volleyball BC is the provincial sport governing body that actively encourages participation and fosters the development of volleyball in BC.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual to join our organization in a dynamic, sport-administration role located in the Fraser Valley. Reporting to the Manager of Volleyball Operations, the Fraser Valley Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of volleyball throughout the Fraser Valley while supporting strategic initiatives throughout BC. The Fraser Valley Regional Manager oversees the selection and management of event staff and gym coordinators in their region, maintains relationships with key stakeholders and facilities, and is capable of organizing and executing large-scale sporting events. This position requires the ability to work some evenings and weekends at various facilities throughout the Fraser Valley, with regular weekend work during the indoor club volleyball season. The successful candidate will work from a home-based office based in the Fraser Valley with the ability to travel around the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland for staff meetings and events when required.

Coach Development Manager


JOB OVERVIEW

Volleyball BC is the provincial sport governing body that actively encourages participation and fosters the development of volleyball in BC.

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic individual to help drive coach development in the province of BC. Under the direction of the Technical Director, the Coach Development Manager is responsible for the organization, administration and management of coach development throughout the province. Main duties include planning, promoting, implementing and evaluating coach development programs that support coaches across the Sport for Life model in BC with their certification and on-going development.

The successful candidate will be an outgoing, self-motivated individual who has a strong passion for volleyball and is used to working in a team environment. This is British Columbia based work-from-home position and the individual must be available to work weekends and evenings as required.

Youth Program Coaches
 
We are currently recruiting coaches for youth programs in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Possibilities include the NEW Smashball Program, Atomic, Train & Play, and other opportunities.
 
Requirements include:
  • Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen.
  • Active engagement in coach education and improvement.
  • A positive personality and caring attitude.

Programs, times, and locations we are currently recruiting for are:
