It was a busy volleyball weekend in BC with multiple Volleyball BC club tournaments taking place around the province. The 13U/14U & 17U/18U boys teams visited the Okanagan for the Volleyball BC Super Spike/Super Series events which took place on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 24 teams were in attendance and they competed at the Okanagan Mission and George Elliot secondary schools.

On the Island, 26 teams in the 15U girls division battled it out in Nanaimo at the Super Volley event with matches taking place at VIU and John Barsby secondary school. In the lower mainland, the 14U Super Spike event took place at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre with 34 teams competing.

Across the province, Volleyball BC has been sponsoring a food drive and our club teams have answered the call by bringing donations to club tournaments. We’d like to thank all of our clubs and teams for continuing to support our communities and those in need through this initiative.
