2015 Youth National Development Program – Team Selections

The National Team Challenge Cup (NTCC) was hosted from July 15-19, 2015 in Richmond (women) at the Richmond Oval and in Edmonton (men) at the Saville Community Sports Centre.  The NTCCs are an elite championship that bring together the best athletes and coaches representing their province/territory and culminate in a National Championship.

From the NTCC Championships, the top athletes in Canada were identified and selected to represent Canada as part of the Boys Select (16/17U) National Team, Boys Youth (17/18U) National Team, the Girls Youth (16U/17U) National Team and the Girls Junior (17U/18U) National Team.

Youth National Development Program provides an environment of excellence in Canada to expose identified athletes to international level of education, training and competition early in their career.  The Boys Youth National Team and the Girls Junior National Team will compete at the US High Performance Championships in Des Moines, Iowa from July 18-25.   The Boys Select National Team will train from July 20-25, 2015 in Edmonton, AB and the Girls Youth National Team will train from July 20-25 in Whistler, BC.
