Jr. girls teams visit Burnaby for first 2014 Days at the Dome tournament

This weekend the junior girls kicked off the 2014 Days at the Dome Series at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre in Burnaby, BC. Fifteen junior girls teams from all over the Vancouver area participated in the one day tournament.

Participating schools included: Windsor, White Rock Christian, Fraser Heights, Semiahmoo, Burnaby Girls, Langley Fundamental, R.E. Mountain, York House, Southridge School, Walnut Grove, Eric Hambers, Lord Tweedsmuir, Crofton House, West Point Grey, and Terry Fox Secondary.

After an exciting day of long rallies and 3 set matches, the Lord Tweedsmuir team from Surrey walked away with Champions title. There are still spots available for the upcoming Grade 8 Girls, Grade 8 Boys, Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys tournaments in the next month.
