Each year Volleyball BC presents volunteer recognition awards to those in our sport who made an extra effort as coaches, officials, and general ambassadors of volleyball. The annual Volleyball BC Volunteer Awards have historically been presented to award winners during the second weekend of the Provincial Championships. As Volleyball BC will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year the volunteer awards presentation ceremony has been moved to January 2015 and incorporated into the 50th anniversary celebration kick-off events.

The awards presented at the January ceremony will be for the 2014 club and high school seasons and so any nominations already tendered will be kept on file and considered in the final selection process. The nomination period will be opened again this October and nominations will be accepted until December.

This volunteer awards event is a unique opportunity to recognize how individuals can make a difference in the lives of others through sports and we look forward to the 2015 presentation ceremony.
